Senior Product Manager (Insurance)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager (Insurance) based in Spain.

As a Senior Product Manager (Insurance), you will lead the strategy, development, and growth of innovative insurance solutions within a fast-paced technology environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape products that deliver measurable value to users while driving business growth through engagement, retention, and monetization initiatives. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, analytics, and business stakeholders to create seamless customer experiences and scalable product offerings. Combining strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making, you will identify market opportunities, define product roadmaps, and oversee execution from concept to launch. The position requires a strong understanding of customer needs, commercial performance, and digital product development. Accountabilities:
  • Own and drive the strategic roadmap for insurance-related products, aligning customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
  • Define and implement growth, engagement, retention, and monetization strategies that contribute to increased customer value and long-term revenue growth.
  • Conduct user research and leverage quantitative data to identify customer pain points, emerging trends, and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable, high-quality product experiences.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to adoption, engagement, retention, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize product functionality, pricing strategies, customer journeys, and overall business performance.
  • Create and manage detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), ensuring alignment between business goals, technical requirements, and user expectations.
  • Foster a customer-centric and results-oriented product culture while contributing to strategic planning and continuous product improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of product management experience, with a strong track record of delivering successful consumer-focused products.
  • Previous experience in insurance technology, insurance products, or related financial services environments is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success driving user engagement, retention, growth, and monetization initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with A/B testing, user behavior analysis, cohort analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of customer experience principles, consumer behavior, and product design best practices.
  • Experience developing pricing strategies, revenue optimization initiatives, and evaluating business performance through key commercial metrics.
  • Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities while managing complex product initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, strategic, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
