This is a high-impact continuous improvement leadership role focused on driving operational excellence across a global service organization within a highly innovative life sciences environment. The role is responsible for embedding and scaling structured problem-solving, kaizen practices, and DBS methodologies across service functions to improve performance, efficiency, and customer impact. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior service leadership, you will influence strategic priorities, identify high-value improvement opportunities, and ensure disciplined execution of business system practices. This position combines coaching, training, and hands-on execution, requiring a leader who can move seamlessly between strategic thinking and on-the-ground problem solving. You will play a central role in building organizational capability through DBS certification, leadership development, and cultural transformation. The environment is fast-paced, global, and highly data-driven, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

The Danaher Business System Leader will be responsible for driving the adoption and execution of DBS principles across the global service organization, ensuring alignment with performance goals and operational priorities. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on leadership in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead the application of Danaher Business System methodologies across global service operations to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Govern kaizen and structured problem-solving pipelines to ensure prioritization of high-impact initiatives
  • Partner with senior service leadership to identify risks, define countermeasures, and drive data-driven decision-making
  • Build and manage DBS capability development, including certification pipelines and training programs
  • Facilitate DBS learning sessions, workshops, and leadership training to embed continuous improvement culture
  • Act as a change agent and internal consultant, influencing teams across all levels of the organization
  • Support the development and standardization of tools such as daily management, problem-solving, and launch excellence
  • Track progress and measure impact of DBS initiatives to ensure sustained operational improvements
Requirements

This role requires strong expertise in continuous improvement methodologies combined with leadership experience in complex, global organizations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, influential, and capable of driving change without direct authority.

  • 7+ years of professional experience with at least 5+ years in service, sales, marketing, operations, or continuous improvement roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Proven experience applying structured continuous improvement or business system methodologies (DBS, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, process optimization, and performance improvement
  • Experience designing and delivering training, coaching, or capability-building programs
  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presence skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 35%, including internationally
