Job Description

Job Overview
The Claims Processor plays a vital role in the Intake Department by opening claims, sending Letters of Representation (LORs) and spoliation letters, and supporting the overall intake process. The Claims Processor will also assist with litigation transfers when needed, communicate with team members to identify additional ways to provide support, and help maintain an efficient and smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities
Open claims and send LORs and spoliation letters in a timely manner.
Review case information, including police reports, and communicate any missing or inconsistent information to the team.
Review incoming emails and identify potential leads to share with the team for follow-up.
Log referred and rejected leads into Lead Docket.
Generate Filevine reports throughout the day.
Monitor Open Records Requests (ORRs) and provide updates to the team.
Answer rollover calls efficiently and professionally.
Maintain consistent communication with team members by providing updates, asking questions, and sharing important information.
Assist Intake Specialists and support team efficiency by remaining proactive and resourceful.
Assist with litigation transfers as needed.
Perform clerical tasks as required.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of experience in customer service or the legal field.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient computer skills in MS Office.
Experience with Filevine and Lead Docket preferred, but not required.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, insurance representatives, attorneys, and team members.
Excellent critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance.
Team-oriented, solution-focused, and resourceful.
Ability to identify opportunities for innovation.
Must be willing to travel to other office locations as required.
