Water Spider I Nights in at HENNIG INC

The Water Spider I supports manufacturing operations by ensuring materials and parts are organized, available, and moved safely between work centers. This position is designed for employees who are learning material flow, shop processes, safety requirements, and the responsibilities necessary to support a productive manufacturing environment.

· Safely move and organize parts and materials throughout assigned work centers.

· Read and interpret part tags and organize materials according to identifying information.

· Deliver parts to the correct locations as materials progress between manufacturing processes, such as bending, welding, paint, and assembly.

· Maintain awareness of forklifts, cranes, pedestrian traffic, designated aisles, work zones, and storage areas.

· Use proper material-handling and lifting techniques, including fixtures, lifting tables, cranes, and team lifts when appropriate.

· Develop a working knowledge of the processes, procedures, and work instructions associated with the assigned work center.

· Communicate missing materials, part issues, improvement ideas, and other concerns to the appropriate Team Lead or Supervisor.

· Operate power/hand tools, basic measuring equipment, including tape measures and calipers, to verify part dimensions.

· Adhere to established work schedules, break periods, and company policies regarding phone use, smoking, music, and general workplace conduct.

· Consistently wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, safety footwear, and other designated safety equipment.

· Support and maintain 5S workplace organization standards and housekeeping requirements within the assigned work center.

· Understand and follow quality standards and workmanship requirements for assigned tasks and responsibilities.

· Perform other material-handling and production-support duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Education: High School Diploma/GED required

· Experience: One year of continuous experience in a manufacturing environment required. Previous material handling experience preferred.

· Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English
