Job Description
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Salience Health is looking for a Marketing Project & Communications Manager who can bring structure, momentum, and consistency to a growing, multi-location Marketing Department. At the center of this role is exceptional project management. This person will coordinate marketing initiatives from idea through execution, building timelines, managing dependencies, driving approvals, coordinating internal and external partners, and making sure projects keep moving and deadlines are met. The right person is also a strong, thoughtful writer who can learn Salience deeply enough to help carry our voice across the work. Whether writing for patients, providers, employees, or the community, they should be able to take complex ideas and turn them into copy that is clear, human, accurate, and meaningful. This role touches nearly every part of Marketing and is ideal for someone who is highly organized, naturally accountable, comfortable working across channels, and equally interested in how the work sounds and how the work gets done.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Marketing Project & Campaign Management
• Manage marketing projects and integrated campaigns from planning through launch and completion.
• Translate priorities into clear project plans, timelines, owners, deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Maintain campaign, content, communications, PR, event, and production calendars.
• Manage creative intake, assignments, production schedules, review cycles, approvals, and asset delivery.
• Coordinate projects across providers, clinics, internal stakeholders, agencies, vendors, and other external partners.
• Track outstanding work, anticipate roadblocks, and proactively communicate risks or delays.
• Own follow-up and accountability so projects do not stall waiting for feedback, approvals, assets, or decisions.
• Build repeatable workflows and processes that improve how Marketing operates.
Copywriting & Brand Communications
• Write and edit compelling copy across campaigns, email, websites, landing pages, provider communications, patient communications, internal and executive communications, social, print, events, and other marketing projects.
• Coordinate internal communications across the organization, including communication planning, message development, stakeholder input, approvals, scheduling, and distribution.
• Learn and help maintain the Salience voice across audiences and channels.
• Translate clinical or complex information into language that is understandable without losing its meaning or accuracy.
• Write with the audience in mind understanding that communicating with a patient requires something different than communicating with a physician or employee.
• Edit and proofread work for voice, clarity, accuracy, consistency, and impact.
• Work with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure messaging is both accurate and human.
Marketing Operations & Execution
• Coordinate day-to-day execution across digital, print, email, web, content, events, PR, and other marketing channels.
• Coordinate website and intranet content, updates, publishing, and ongoing content maintenance.
• Support campaign setup, scheduling, testing, QA, launch readiness, and distribution.
• Coordinate website and intranet updates and routine publishing.
• Manage print, collateral, signage, inventory, proofs, production, and delivery.
• Maintain organized and accessible marketing assets, files, and project documentation.
• Coordinate agencies, printers, freelancers, media partners, and other vendors.
• Track marketing invoices, POs, subscriptions, renewals, purchasing documentation, and recurring commitments.
Performance & Reporting
• Maintain recurring marketing dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.
• Monitor campaign pacing, lead volume, conversion trends, and performance against established goals.
• Identify meaningful trends, issues, or opportunities and help coordinate appropriate next steps.
• Consolidate performance information from CRM, analytics, agencies, paid media, and other marketing platforms.
• Monitor campaign links, forms, landing pages, and digital experiences for accuracy and functionality.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means marketing work moves forward with greater visibility, consistency, quality, and accountability. Projects have clear owners and deadlines, campaigns launch on time, and approvals, assets, or unanswered questions don't quietly stall progress. You keep internal teams and external partners aligned, reporting current, and the details organized while anticipating potential roadblocks early enough to solve them before they become problems. That same level of care carries into how Salience communicates. Our writing should be clear, thoughtful, accurate, and human, making complex clinical information understandable without losing its meaning. Whether we're speaking to a patient, provider, employee, or community partner, our communication should reflect both the credibility of our work and the heart behind it.
What It Takes to Succeed:
• Exceptional Project Management: You naturally create structure, establish ownership, manage competing priorities, and drive work through completion.
• Strong Copywriting: You understand voice, tone, audience, messaging, and storytelling and can turn complicated ideas into clear, compelling copy.
• Operational Ownership: You don't simply identify that something is behind—you determine what needs to happen to move it forward.
• Marketing Fluency: You understand how content, creative, digital, paid media, email, web, PR, events, and analytics work together.
• Proactive Communication: You follow up, surface risks early, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Attention to Detail: You care about accuracy, quality, and the small things without losing sight of the larger objective.
• Heart: You understand that behavioral healthcare is different. The words we use matter because the people behind the work matter.
