Senior Programmatic Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Programmatic Manager based in India.

As a Senior Programmatic Manager, you will play a key role in growing major client accounts through data-driven programmatic advertising strategies.
You will optimize campaigns across programmatic platforms, using performance insights to improve media effectiveness and client outcomes.
The role combines campaign management, analytics, client consulting, business development, and team leadership.
You will translate attribution models, analytics data, and market insights into actionable recommendations and strategic decisions.
Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will help create integrated digital advertising solutions spanning multiple areas of the media ecosystem.
You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to an expanding programmatic function within a collaborative global environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Optimize programmatic campaigns across relevant platforms, refining targeting, bidding, media allocation, and other tactics to improve client performance.
  • Develop weekly and monthly performance reports, translating campaign data into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Use attribution modeling and third-party analytics data to evaluate performance and inform client strategies.
  • Partner with Business Development teams to develop programmatic strategies and solutions for prospective clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients through written communication, presentations, and meetings.
  • Collaborate with teams across the wider digital marketing ecosystem to develop holistic advertiser solutions.
  • Lead weekly status meetings, coordinate priorities, assign tasks and timelines, and ensure effective delivery across team members.
  • Contribute to internal leadership initiatives and support the continued development of the programmatic function.
  • Analyze deal economics, media allocation, and advertiser investment decisions to support commercial and campaign objectives.
  • Mentor and educate junior team members, helping build programmatic expertise as the business grows.
  • Identify opportunities to experiment with new methods, technologies, and approaches to solve complex advertising challenges.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in display and programmatic advertising, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of display advertising, including real-time bidding, ad networks, demand-side platforms, attribution models, and related technologies.
  • Experience working with Google Marketing Platform and associated programmatic technologies.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Macros; SQL capabilities are also required.
  • Strong business writing skills and the ability to produce clear, polished, high-quality documents and reports.
  • Structured and organized approach to work, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong ability to use data, market insights, and performance information to inform decisions and develop business strategies.
  • Consulting and influencing skills, with confidence engaging clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Creative and analytical mindset, with the ability to develop new ideas and experiment with emerging methods and technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to lead meetings, coordinate workloads, and provide guidance to colleagues.
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior team members is advantageous.
  • A degree is not required where relevant skills, expertise, and behavioral capabilities can be demonstrated.
  • Ability to work an EST shift.
