100% Remote Evening Radiologist, 7-On / 7-Off in Roanoke, Virginia at Carilion Clinic

Carilion Clinic is seeking a BC/BE Radiologist to join our practice as a 100% remote evening Radiologist.

Compensation and Other Benefits:

Compensation: $531,000.00 per year base with potential to make $700,000.00+ per year after bonuses.

Professional development fund: $7200.00 per year.

Carilion is a not-for-profit healthcare organization and therefore physicians are eligible to participate in the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.

Virginia is a tort reform state. Carilion provides malpractice AND extended reporting period (Tail Coverage) Insurance to cover state legislated maximum malpractice claims.

Clinical Work:

Evening shifts from 4PM to midnight, eastern time.

Seven (7) Evenings On Seven (7) Evenings Off.

Mainly reading emergency department and inpatients cases including reading for a busy level 1 trauma center and thrombectomy capable stroke center.

SECTRA PACS, Powerscribe 360 reporting, EPIC EMR, Syngo.Via/TeraRecon Advanced Visualization.

Carilion will provide a full diagnostic workstation including diagnostic BARCO monitor. 24 hr IT support.

Day and evening Reading Room Assistant for troubleshooting and contacting referring providers.

Growing Clinic and Practice:

$400 million expansion tower to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital - opened in 2025.

$150 million new cancer center schedule to open in January 2028

New 80,000 sq ft outpatient pediatric clinic - opened in 2021.

New 37,000 sq ft mental health clinic - opened in 2023.

Currently have state certificate of public need (COPN) approval to install 5 new CT scanners and 1 new MRI scanner.

Year-over-year increases in imaging volume.

Carilion Clinic offers a competitive salary with incentive tied to productivity and quality criteria. Salary range is $510,000 - $7 annually. The posted salary range may not reflect the full value of the total compensation package. You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary. Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary. In addition, comprehensive benefits and pension offerings further enhance the overall rewards package.
