Description:
Event Managers must be knowledgeable on how to develop, coordinate and execute events of all sizes. Each event manager is responsible for their own assigned events from concept through execution through post-event follow-up /budget closeout. As an event manager you would have a wide range of events from marketing activations to non-profit galas to grand openings to
conferences.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Relationship Management
- Primary Contact: Act as the primary contact with each of your assigned clients.
- Meetings & Walkthroughs: Attend all client meetings, strategy meetings, planning meetings, and lead all venue walkthroughs.
- Vendor Relations: Manage and maintain all vendor relationships made at or brought into the agency.
- Customer Service: Provide “WOW” customer service when dealing with clients and vendors.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.
Event Concept & Execution
- Creative Concepts: Conceptualize themes for assigned events.
- Experience Design: Idealize unique experiences and decor for each of your assigned events.
- End-to-End Execution: Implement, coordinate, and execute designed themes from inception to completion on all events.
- On-Site Management: Oversee and execute the set-up of events, as well as manage the flow and timeline during the event.
- Breakdown: Oversee and execute professional breakdown of the event.
Financial & Team Oversight
- Budget Tracking: Oversee and organize all event expenditures to remain within the allotted budget per assigned event.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate all vendor contracts while creating event budgets.
- Invoicing: Submit all invoice requests and vendor check requests via Wrike to the accounting department.
- Billing: Manage client billing and vendor payments.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and manage admin coordinators or junior manager to assist you in tasks, if assigned.
- Collaboration: Partake in a teamwork environment and follow-through with any assignments from start to finish with an impeccable work ethic and follow-up.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
- Mastery of multi-tasking under tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of advertising, marketing, public relations, business, or economics.
- Solid computer skills and basic AI literacy.
- Excellent organization skills and reliable work habits.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks
Lead Manager Event Fees
- Activation Fee: Receive a $250 manager fee per activation when working onsite as the lead manager.
- Large Event Fee: Receive a $350 manager fee per large event when working onsite as the lead manager.
- Note: These fees are paid out post-event once financial event reconciliation has been completed and the event is officially closed out.

- Office Schedule: Hybrid Schedule - 3 days in office (tues, wed, thurs) and 2 days WFH (Mon +Fri). *This schedule is fluid on WFH days if you have an onsite set-up or in person meetings scheduled by client or vendor, then employees must be present.*
