About the Manager, Software Engineering Position:
The Manager, Software Engineering provides leadership and direction for the design, development, delivery, operation, and support of Avalon’s software products and services. This role is accountable for building and leading high-performing Software Engineering teams, ensuring reliable delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions aligned with business priorities. The Manager is also responsible recruitment, retention, and career development. Through strong technical leadership, effective execution, and cross-functional collaboration, the Manager fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence while ensuring organizational goals and customer needs are consistently met.
This position is eligible for remote work, but quarterly travel will be required to Avalon's corporate office located in Tampa, Florida.
