The NCRC, Ebensburg PA Event Host provides customer service through the implementation of hosting public skates, birthday parties, and other events, including interaction with parents and children, preparation for the event, and distribution of rental skates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Greet and assist customers with public skate admissions, skate helpers, skate rentals, and birthday parties/group outings.
•Deliver excellent customer service by assisting patrons with questions regarding facility operations and programs; answer inquiries and seek clarification when necessary.
•Preparing for the event by setting up areas: lights, music, chairs, tables, signs and program equipment.
•Enforce facility policies, safety standards, and professional appearance requirements for staff during shifts.
•Complete checklists, logs, duties pertaining to each shift.
•Weekends and flexible availability.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
•HS diploma/GED preferred.
•Experience in ice rink, recreation, or athletics facility operations a plus.
•Skating experience is a plus.
•Strong customer services, verbal and written communication skills.
