Description:

We are actively seeking a dynamic and strategically-minded VP of Manufacturing to oversee our deep drawn metal stamping manufacturing facilities. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for not only driving operational excellence but also developing comprehensive strategies to ensure the highest quality standards, optimize production processes, and significantly enhance operational efficiency across all manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute long-term manufacturing strategies that align with company objectives and support sustainable growth in the metal precision sector. This includes analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.

- Lead the overall management of manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality assurance, supply chain management, and workforce development. Ensure the effective utilization of resources and materials to meet production targets efficiently.

- Establish and continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production efficiency and product quality. Utilize advanced data analytics tools to drive informed, data-driven decisions that enhance operational performance and improve production yields and quality compliance.

- Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to initiate continuous improvement initiatives. Implement best practices in manufacturing, including lean production principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process optimization strategies to streamline operations and minimize waste.

- Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Foster a culture of safety and accountability by conducting regular safety audits and promoting best practices throughout the manufacturing environment.

- Mentor and empower the manufacturing leadership team, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources to take ownership of their departments. Facilitate leadership development programs and training to enhance skills and encourage career growth among employees.

- Oversee the preparation and management of manufacturing budgets, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to maximize productivity while maintaining cost efficiency. Regularly review financial performance and implement corrective measures as necessary.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry stakeholders to promote collaboration and innovation in product development. Engage with partners to negotiate contracts and terms that support operational goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly recommended.

- A minimum of 10-15 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing operations within the metal precision industry, with a robust understanding of the complexities involved.

- Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing and sustaining high-performing teams, driving operational improvements, and managing large-scale manufacturing projects.

- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing methodologies that enhance operational efficiency.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate and resolve complex operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
