What You'll Do:
- Prepare dining room areas for meal service, including table settings, condiments, beverages, and resident dining needs.
- Wash, sanitize, store, and maintain the availability of dishes, utensils, cookware, and serving items according to food safety standards.
- Operate the dishwasher and complete all dishwashing tasks, including scraping, rinsing, racking, drying, and proper storage of kitchenware.
- Support resident dining service by delivering beverages, clearing tables, bussing dining areas, and following established service etiquette.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized dining room, dish room, kitchen, and work areas in accordance with community standards.
- Assist with routine kitchen and dining support duties, including trash removal, restocking supplies, transporting food and supplies, and general housekeeping tasks.
- Follow infection control, safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures required in a senior living environment.
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members while reporting equipment issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to leadership.
What You'll Need:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school or GED, required
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience, required
- Kitchen and dining room-related experience, preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a senior living community and around older adults
