Position SummarySouthend Pharmacy, a subsidiary of Allia Health Group, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations supporting our rapidly growing pharmacy and distribution environment. This onsite leadership role is responsible for supervising inventory control, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse staff while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
The Warehouse Supervisor will drive operational efficiency, maintain inventory accuracy, support cross-functional pharmacy operations, and ensure timely and accurate movement of products throughout the facility.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations & Inventory Management- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent stock shortages and overstock situations.
- Maintain proper storage conditions and organization of inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Oversee receiving processes to ensure products are inspected, documented, and stored appropriately.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of internal and external orders.
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates and support staff.
- Conduct employee training on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and operational standards.
- Manage daily staffing schedules and workload distribution to meet operational demands.
- Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and warehouse operating procedures.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards proactively.
- Support pharmacy and regulatory compliance requirements related to inventory handling and storage.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to warehouse operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse workflows, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
- Implement operational best practices to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with pharmacy, procurement, quality, and operations teams to support business objectives.
- Assist with warehouse reporting, metrics tracking, and operational analysis.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated distribution environment.
- Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing warehouse staff.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, ERP systems, or related technology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working within a 503A compounding pharmacy or 503B outsourcing facility, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or other regulated pharmacy distribution environment, with knowledge of inventory controls, product handling requirements, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Experience supporting inventory compliance, audits, and quality control programs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
- Experience with barcode scanning systems, inventory tracking technologies, and warehouse automation tools.
- Forklift certification or prior experience operating material handling equipment.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
- Experience managing high-volume inventory and distribution operations.
- Onsite position located in Houston, Texas.
- Standard warehouse environment requiring standing, walking, lifting, and movement throughout the facility.
- May require occasional overtime and weekends based on business and operational needs.
