Job Description: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Position Summary:
The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe transport of commercial kitchen equipment and the efficient organization and preparation of warehouse inventory. This individual works closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to client job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company box truck to deliver commercial equipment to customer sites
- Safely load and unload truck using appropriate tools and lifting techniques
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory movement
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including receiving and staging outbound shipments
- Ensure vehicle and equipment are kept in clean, working condition
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Adapt to changing schedules and work overtime (including weekends) as needed to support business demands
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in delivery or warehouse operations preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate pallet jacks or lift equipment (certification a plus)
- Flexible schedule availability early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position has no current supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Work Environment:
This role operates in both warehouse and field environments. In the warehouse, the associate may be exposed to noise, fluctuating temperatures, and moving equipment. During deliveries, work may take place at commercial job sites, which can vary in terms of conditions and accessibility. The role requires adaptability to both indoor and outdoor environments, including inclement weather.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and climbing in and out of trucks
- Use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move large items
- Lifting. Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 75 lbs
- Ability to safely navigate loading docks, warehouse aisles, and job sites
- Visual acuity for reading instructions, maps, and labels
- Manual dexterity to handle tools, secure loads, and operate lift gates or ramps
- Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound
- Use of one or both arms and wrists to lift parts, fixtures, and tools on a frequent basis
- Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately or quickly
