Description:

Raleigh Radiology is seeking an ARRT (MR) registered MRI technologist to join our team! Responsibilities include performing MRI studies for outpatients, coordinating patient care, and maintaining professional standards. The ideal candidate will engage with patients, assess their condition, and document relevant information.

A. This position is located in our Knightdale Imaging Center

B. The primary function of the registered MRI technologist at Raleigh Radiology is to provide MR studies to outpatients.

C. The technologist is responsible for the coordination of patient care.

D. He/she follows established protocols, policies, procedures, and specific instructions.

E. The technologist must be ARRT (MR) registered.

F. This position reports to the MRI Supervisor and/or the Senior Manager of Clinical Operations.

G. The technologist works under the direction of the radiologist, which may include on-site or remote supervision.

*Work Schedule* Weekday and weekend availability. (Work hours may vary)

Requirements:

III. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE

A. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or commensurate experience with ARRT registration.

B. Experience: Previous experience in a busy office or hospital is preferred.

C. Certification:

1. AHA BLS certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Continuous AHA BLS certification is required.

2. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R)(ARRT), at time of hire.

3. Registered in MRI with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R)(MR)(ARRT) preferred upon hire.

D. Licensure: Valid Driver's License

IV. DESIRED SKILLS

Basic patient care skills, including first aid and BLS. Excellent technical skills in MR are required. Ability to work independently, make sound decisions based on patient

condition, and ability to follow directions. Flexibility, dependability, and professionalism are required.
