Account Executive Business Development Sales, Healthcare SaaS

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Executive – Business Development Sales, Healthcare SaaS based in the United States.

This is a remote enterprise healthcare sales opportunity for an experienced business development professional focused on driving growth across complex national healthcare organizations. You will build executive-level relationships, create new enterprise opportunities, and manage strategic accounts throughout the full sales lifecycle. The role combines new-logo acquisition, account expansion, consultative selling, and relationship development across the healthcare ecosystem. You will engage senior leaders on solutions spanning healthcare SaaS, analytics, automation, AI, and workflow optimization. Success requires strong commercial judgment, deep knowledge of healthcare operations, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise buying processes. The position offers significant autonomy, with up to 50% travel across the United States.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the complete enterprise sales lifecycle, from territory planning and outbound prospecting through executive discovery, solution demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, procurement, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with CFOs, CIOs, CROs, COOs, revenue cycle leaders, patient access executives, digital transformation leaders, and other senior healthcare stakeholders.
  • Independently build a qualified pipeline of enterprise healthcare opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, industry engagement, referrals, and partner relationships.
  • Identify new buying centers, service lines, and strategic expansion opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account expansion plans, including cross-selling, upselling, and adoption of additional solutions and data services.
  • Position complex healthcare SaaS, analytics, automation, AI-enabled, and workflow optimization solutions according to clients’ operational and financial objectives.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple executive stakeholders, formal procurement processes, legal and security reviews, and significant contract values.
  • Develop and execute account strategies designed to secure new logos and expand existing enterprise relationships.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasting, and account strategies using Salesforce and established enterprise sales methodologies.
  • Use modern sales productivity and enablement tools, including Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft Copilot, and related technologies, to improve prospecting, pipeline visibility, and sales execution.
  • Monitor healthcare market developments and leverage industry knowledge to identify emerging opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Travel across the United States, up to 50% of the time, for client meetings, industry engagement, and other business development activities.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of successful enterprise healthcare SaaS sales experience, with a strong emphasis on net-new business acquisition and strategic account expansion.
  • At least 7 years of experience leading complex enterprise healthcare sales cycles involving multiple executive stakeholders, procurement, legal and security reviews, and annual contract values exceeding $500K–$2M+.
  • Proven track record of exceeding enterprise sales quotas through new-logo acquisition and expansion revenue.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare provider landscape, including patient access, patient experience, revenue cycle management, reimbursement, managed care, eligibility, claims, denials, and administrative workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience selling directly to C-suite and senior healthcare operational leaders, including CFOs, CIOs, CROs, COOs, revenue cycle executives, partnership leaders, and digital transformation executives.
  • Proven experience selling enterprise healthcare SaaS solutions focused on revenue cycle management.
  • Strong consultative selling and executive relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex enterprise procurement, contracting, legal, security, and stakeholder-management processes.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and account strategy capabilities.
  • Experience using Salesforce and modern enterprise sales methodologies.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement and productivity platforms such as Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the United States.
