Are you a hands-on manufacturing professional who would rather be on the shop floor than behind a desk? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer who thrives in a fast-paced machining environment and enjoys programming, troubleshooting, process improvement, and working directly with production teams.
This is not a traditional office-based engineering role. You'll spend your time supporting machining operations, modifying CNC programs, improving processes, estimating jobs, and helping drive production success from the floor.

Key Responsibilities
Determine manufacturing methods, routing sequences, fixturing, raw materials, inspection methods, and outside processing requirements.
Provide detailed quotes and manufacturing estimates for precision-machined components.
Input and maintain routing information and labor standards within company systems.
Develop CNC programs and support program modifications for continuous improvement.
Utilize GD&T principles and interpret technical drawings.
Create setup sheets, operation sheets, and manufacturing documentation.
Develop fixtures and tooling concepts to improve manufacturing performance.
Support process improvements focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Balance multiple projects and changing customer priorities.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, OR
5-10 years of manufacturing engineering and CNC programming experience, OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of machine tools and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency with Mastercam programming.
Experience reading blueprints and applying GD&T.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred
Experience programming CNC VTLs, mills, and lathes.
Experience setting up and running first article parts.
Tool room experience.
Experience with Siemens NX CAD software.
Fixture and tooling design experience.
This Role Is NOT
A desk-only engineering position.
Primarily focused on product design.
Heavy on engineering calculations or theoretical analysis.
This Role IS
Hands-on shop floor support
CNC programming and program modification
Process improvement and troubleshooting
First article prove-outs and production release
Manufacturing planning and job estimating
Working directly with machinists and production teams
