Strategy and Operations Associate, GTM

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategy and Operations Associate, GTM based in the United States.

Are you a strategic thinker who enjoys turning complex business challenges into actionable solutions and measurable results?
This role offers the opportunity to drive high-impact go-to-market (GTM) initiatives within a fast-growing, technology-driven learning and workforce development environment.
Working directly with executive leadership, you will collaborate across marketing, sales, revenue operations, and business development to improve commercial performance and accelerate growth.
You will take ownership of cross-functional programs, optimize sales processes, strengthen account targeting, and establish operational practices that keep teams aligned and accountable.
Leveraging data, automation, and AI-powered tools, you will identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and transform insights into practical business improvements.
With direct exposure to executive decision-making and the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives from day one, you will develop the skills needed for broader strategy and operations leadership.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently, and are passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Accountabilities
  • Lead cross-functional GTM initiatives: Own strategic programs from planning through execution, adoption, and performance measurement. Establish project plans, coordinate stakeholders across teams, monitor progress, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Optimize account strategy and targeting: Collaborate with revenue leadership and sales development teams to refine account prioritization, territory design, account assignments, and target-list development across customer segments.
  • Improve the sales and marketing funnel: Identify bottlenecks between marketing and sales, investigate their underlying causes, and implement cross-functional solutions that improve lead management, pipeline conversion, and revenue velocity.
  • Drive process optimization and automation: Use data, AI tools, and automation to improve sales productivity, strengthen pipeline performance, reduce manual work, and streamline commercial workflows.
  • Manage commercial systems and reporting: Build and maintain reports, lists, workflows, lead management processes, and campaign operations within platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Establish the commercial operating rhythm: Act as a strategic operations partner to the executive commercial leader by coordinating weekly revenue leadership meetings, preparing agendas and pre-read materials, and maintaining clear visibility into key performance indicators.
  • Monitor performance and accountability: Track pipeline coverage and quality, lead follow-up, sales representative performance, and progress toward revenue targets. Document decisions, assign action owners, and ensure commitments are followed through to completion.
  • Translate data into strategic recommendations: Analyze commercial performance, distinguish leading indicators from lagging outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate actionable recommendations to executive leadership and operational teams.
  • Leverage AI to improve execution: Apply AI-powered tools to research, analysis, content development, and workflow automation, building practical solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Support organizational growth and change: Work across functions to implement new processes, encourage adoption, and help commercial teams adapt to evolving priorities in a resource-conscious, high-growth environment.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, business operations, program management, a chief-of-staff role, or go-to-market and revenue operations. Experience in B2B SaaS is advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated execution capability: A proven track record of leading initiatives from initial planning through implementation and adoption, including the ability to influence stakeholders who do not report directly to you.
  • AI proficiency: Demonstrated, practical experience using AI tools, particularly Claude or comparable platforms, for analysis, drafting, problem-solving, and automation. Candidates should be able to showcase a solution or project they have built.
  • Structured problem-solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose complex business challenges, investigate root causes, interpret commercial data, and develop effective, evidence-based solutions.
  • Executive communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise strategic recommendations, communicate clearly with senior leaders, and engage credibly with sales and marketing teams.
  • Project and program management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands, coordinate multiple workstreams, manage deadlines, and deliver results against broad strategic objectives.
  • CRM and operational systems: Willingness to become proficient in Salesforce and HubSpot within the first 90 days, including hands-on development of reports, lists, and workflows. Previous administrator or advanced user experience is a plus.
  • Commercial and GTM understanding: Ability to understand sales and marketing processes, pipeline management, account prioritization, and the operational factors that influence revenue growth.
  • Self-directed working style: Comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous assignments, developing structured execution plans, and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment with limited resources.
  • Adaptability and initiative: An entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, improving processes, and driving organizational change.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and HubSpot, including familiarity with CRM data models.
  • Experience with territory design, strategic account planning, and target-list development.
  • Familiarity with conversation intelligence and sales engagement platforms such as Gong and Nooks.
