Resident Assistant - Evergreen Knoll at HADC Services, LLC – Cloquet, Minnesota

Evergreen Knoll is seeking applicants who have a sensitivity and compassion for working with the elderly for our Resident Assistant position. Successful candidates must have strong problem-solving skills, good judgement, dependability, and flexibility.

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping duties.
• Assist residents with personal cares such as dressing, bathing, grooming and other cares as assigned.
• Pass medications and supervise self-administration.
• Assist with meals as directed.
• Observe residents and report any changes in physical and emotional condition.
• Assist residents with laundry.

Shifts/Hours

• 6a-2p, part-time, including every other weekend.
• 10p-6a, part-time, including every other weekend.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00

- +$0.50 for CNA certification and +$1.00 for both CNA and TMA certifications!

- Shift differentials for 10p-6a and weekends!

- Benefits include paid time off, and our 403b retirement plan which allows you to begin your contributions immediately upon hire.

- Tuition reimbursement is available for new CNA and TMA certification, and other post-secondary education degree programs including nursing.

Qualifications:

• While previous experience is welcome for this entry level position, it isn't required as we are willing to train you to be a successful member of our team!
• In order to be able to clearly communicate with and provide appropriate care to our residents, as well as to complete all job tasks safely and as required, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• All employees must pass a criminal background study as determined solely by the State of Minnesota. We cannot employ anyone who does not successfully pass the background study.
