Join Our Team as a Maintenance & Hospital Custodian!

Are you a hands-on professional who takes pride in creating and maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces? We are seeking a Maintenance & Hospital Custodian to ensure our three veterinary hospitals—Beacon Veterinary Specialists, Central Veterinary Hospital, and Animal Eye Care—remain in top-notch condition for our patients, clients, and staff. If you're self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to tackle a variety of maintenance and custodial tasks, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, both inside and out, through daily cleaning and upkeep.

• Perform minor repairs, including basic plumbing, painting, and installation tasks.

• Conduct monthly air vent cleaning and other scheduled maintenance tasks.

• Notify management of any problems or repair needs.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of tools and hardware.

• Ability to reach, climb, bend, stoop, and kneel as necessary.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Follow written and verbal instructions effectively.

• Confident working independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to adhere to all health and safety regulations.

• Comfortable in a work environment where animals are present.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial maintenance, janitorial, or related experience.

Work Location:
Your primary responsibility will be at Beacon Veterinary Specialists (1618 Washington Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539) with additional support as needed at:

• Central Veterinary Hospital (5245 Central Ave., Fremont, CA 94536)

• Animal Eye Care (4877 Hopyard Rd Suite B-1, Pleasanton, CA 94588)

Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel to Central Veterinary Hospital and Animal Eye Care.

Schedule:
The work hours for this role are flexible Monday-Friday. No holidays or weekends.
