CAT Scan Tech at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville – Madisonville, Kentucky

Performs various technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation techniques, special positioning of anatomical parts and determine type of procedure to be done with or without contrast media.

Diploma, Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiography program required. Registered Technologist (R.T.) in Radiography (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. ARRT registered in CT preferred. Active Kentucky certification in Radiography (R) from the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) required. BLS required. EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred and requires training in CT
