Construction Equipment Service Technician

Chappell Tractor has an opening in our Service Department located in Hopedale, MA for a Shop Service Technician. The position involves preparing units for delivery and performing periodic service & maintenance. Repairing equipment including engine, transmission, rear/front axle and hydraulic cylinder overhaul. Diagnose and repair construction equipment in the shop.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have prior experience working as a Technician in a service department at an equipment, truck or automotive dealership.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from a technical or vocational school and be knowledgeable with all major mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems found in this type of equipment.

Experience servicing diesel engines and welding is a plus.
