MD Internal Medicine at Whidbey General Hospital – Oak Harbor, Washington

POSITION SUMMARY
Full time opportunity for internal medicine physician to join our flourishing rural health community clinics. The island's north and south clinics provide care to a variety of patients covering all age groups and income levels. Two days a week at each clinic location. The clinics are part of a larger healthcare system operated by the local critical access hospital. Four day work week, 2 days at each clinic location, with excellent 24/7 hospitalist coverage - call is 1:6 (via telephone). Prefer private practice and/or rural health experience. The clinics are part of the National Health Service Corp and state program for student loan repayment programs. The provider team is comprised of one family medicine physician and five mid-level providers. There are also MSW services provided for clinic patients and RN's are staffed at both clinics to triage and assist providers with patient care. Excellent salary and benefits package.
