BIM Director in Remote at Exante360 Inc

Exante360, Inc., is seeking a Director of BIM/VDC Services to join our evolving and dynamic Technology Design Integration Team.

In this role, you will use your extensive expertise with Revit to provide overarching support to project teams and Exante360’s Center of Excellence (ECOE), with a consistent focus on our values of superior customer service, responsibility, versatility, and excellence. You’ll collaborate internally with senior consultants, designers, BIM Staff, and others to assist our clients with decision making related to a variety of low voltage/ICT systems design projects. Your role will require taking responsibility for the management of models, BIM planning and execution, and driving collaboration and accuracy within models. Additionally, you will help the company ‘raise the bar’, by researching and implementing new tools and automation. You will excel in this position if you’ve had at least 10 years of experience with BIM planning and execution from start to finish. You have functioned in a similar role with an MEP-T consulting company, or with a systems integrator / installation contractor. You have an interest in developing educational material to bring team members up to speed and in performing continued education regarding BIM practices and design software such as Revit. You have a collaborative attitude, are intrinsically motivated, and ready to learn. You bring the ability to interact with team members at varying levels and interpret their individual unique needs. You thrive in a leadership role and have the desire to take full responsibility for the department in a high growth environment.

Additional qualifications include:

• True leadership skills with a desire to take full responsibility for the department. 5+ years previous experience of managing a BIM department required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Navisworks - Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) Certification highly preferred
• Meticulous quality control/review skills
• A strong understanding of Dynamo's operations and can develop and maintain simple scripts.
• Highly proficient with low voltage design applications and the innate ability communicate the benefits of these components within an integrated building information model to all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to develop learning material, deliver effective training, and provide ongoing education and support to project teams, ECOE and BIM staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment; working on multiple projects daily while also managing the department.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the architectural process and the ability to build clear and concise construction documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, IT or related field preferred.
