About This Position

Powers Health is hiring a Supply Chain Contract Administrator!

Job Description:

The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing, negotiating, and optimizing contracts for Powers Health. This role ensures compliance with contractual terms, analyzes vendor performance, and supports the organization in achieving cost savings and operational efficiency.

  • Supply and Service Contracting
    • Develop, review and negotiate supplier and service contracts.
    • Maintain a centralized contract repository, ensuring timely renewals, amendments and terminations.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers while directing them through the contracting process and communicating expectations.
    • Interacts with clinicians, and allied health professionals to determine needs and initiate supply/service contracting process
    • Monitors price changes received and compares against existing contracts for accuracy. Works with supplier for prompt resolution.
    • Continually searches for items purchased that could and should be under a supply contract, and take action to add them to a contract.

Evaluates GPO contracts for review and possible acceptance by Powers Health.

  • Product Recalls and Product Problems
    • Coordinates the resolution of any problems associated with product conversions.
    • Effectively and expediently handles, when assigned, product recalls, alerts, advisories, etc.
    • Coordinates collaboration between materials management, suppliers and user groups to achieve effective and efficient resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree in related field preferred with supply chain experience or minimum of high school diploma with 3-5 years Supply Chain experience.
  • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management.
  • Experience in cost containment activities.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
