NORTH/CENTRAL OHIO (USA). Multi-Hospital Practice searching for a full-time Medical Director for Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services for a three-hospital healthcare system. Pathology responsibility includes oversight of 3 pathologists and one pathologist assistant.

Practice Overview:

1. General Surg Path Practice
2. Reasonable Case Load
3. Participation in Tumor Board and On-Call coverage
4. No autopsies
5. PA on-site to perform grossing

Required:

1. M.D./D.O. with Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
2. Licensure by the State of Ohio Board of Medicine
3. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Laboratory Director
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written
5. Ability to interact with medical center physicians, hospital administration and laboratory staff
