Job Summary

• Responsible for light food preparations, and assembly of patient trays.
• Delivers patient meal trays to Food Services Ambassador staff in an efficient and timely manner; leverages online systems to manage status of meal preparation for different departments within the hospital.
• Cleans and stores dishware, silverware, and cooking equipment according to department standards.

Education and/or Experience

• No education or experience required.
• Prior experience in Food Service preferred.

Certification Licensure and or Registrations:

• This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.

Work Schedule

• Evening shifts as needed, 2:00pm-7:30pm; PRN
  • Every other weekend
  • Every other holiday

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
