About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Food and Beverage Team Member to join our team in Hudson Yards, NY. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment of our food and beverage offerings, and maintaining and restocking our hotel member room bar. You will work closely with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment, and to ensure that all food and beverage items are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or customer service role
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and take their orders in a friendly and efficient manner
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Restock and maintain room bar in all guest rooms; charging hotel members accordingly for consumption
