Warehouse Attendant at Mormac Marine Group Inc – Ludington, Michigan

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Attendant. Starting pay for this role is $15.00/hour. This position also includes holiday pay and 401K. Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential. Lake Michigan Car Ferry assists in obtaining these documents.

Job Summary:

Warehouse Attendants are responsible for ordering, shipping, receiving, and maintaining par orders in the warehouse and delivering orders to the ship. This person will also be called to load/unload vehicles on the ship and to perform general property maintenance. The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for the removal and disposal of coal ash from the ship. This position requires employees to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. The Warehouse Attendant must also be flexible and adaptable to serve in other areas when needed. Experience operating heavy machinery and forklift are preferred but not required.

Direct Supervisor: Warehouse Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

• Fulfill and deliver orders to the ship
• Remove and dispose coal ash
• Load and unload vehicles
• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and telehandler
• Ability to work as a team with multiple departments both onshore and ship side
• General property maintenance
