FINANCIAL CLEARANCE REPRESENTATIVE

HOURS:
Full-time, day shifts. 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Clearance Representative completes the registration process and ensure benefits are verified and applied to encounters correctly. They educate patients on their insurance benefits and what they will be responsible for after their services and also assist patients with their billing and/or financial assistance application process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Medical terminology coursework helpful.

Required length of experience:
One (1) year patient registration and/or patient accounts required.
Billing, appeals, denials, revenue, A/R experience all helpful and strongly preferred.
