Occupational Therapist at North Kansas City Hospital – North Kansas City, Missouri

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapyservices to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities. Occupational Therapist to function in evaluations and treatments in acute care setting. OTR's ability to support outpatient needs is also an added bonus for a candidate with these skills or willingness to be trained for these needs. Schedule can be either 5-8 hour days with work schedule being 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. or 4- 10 hour days with schedule being 8-6:30 p.m. with off day to be determined at time of hire. Required to work 2 weekend days per month and 1 holiday per year.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Strongwritten, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), OTR (Occupational Therapist)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
