This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead – IT in Australia.
This is a senior, hands-on recruitment role focused on delivering end-to-end IT talent acquisition for global customers across multiple technology domains. You will act as a trusted hiring partner, directly engaging with stakeholders to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective sourcing and recruitment strategies. The role requires strong ownership across the full recruitment lifecycle, from requirement intake to offer closure and candidate onboarding. You will manage high-volume, international IT hiring mandates while maintaining speed, quality, and SLA compliance. Operating in a bilingual environment, you will also manage Japanese-speaking hiring needs, making this a highly specialized and impactful position. This is an individual contributor role where autonomy, customer interaction, and execution excellence are key to success.
- Manage end-to-end IT recruitment delivery for global clients, from requirement gathering through to offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner directly with international stakeholders to understand hiring needs and translate them into structured sourcing strategies.
- Source and build strong candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and direct sourcing channels.
- Create and manage bilingual job postings in English and Japanese to attract relevant talent pools.
- Conduct structured screening interviews assessing technical capability, communication skills, and client readiness.
- Coordinate interview processes across global time zones, ensuring smooth communication and timely feedback loops.
- Support offer negotiation, salary discussions, and candidate engagement through to final acceptance.
- Conduct weekly client updates, present recruitment dashboards, and share key hiring metrics and market insights.
- 8–12 years of experience in IT recruitment or technical talent acquisition.
- Strong background in global staffing, RPO, or resource augmentation models.
- Proven experience working directly with international clients and managing end-to-end recruitment cycles.
- Deep understanding of IT domains such as Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, AI, ERP, and Application Development.
- Experience handling Japanese-speaking hiring mandates in professional environments.
- Business-level fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 preferred) and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong ability to conduct interviews and client discussions independently in both languages.
- Excellent ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple concurrent hiring pipelines.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and reporting skills with a data-driven approach.
