Job Description
Title: Consumer Lending ProcessorRevised: 04/17/2026
Highly organized and detail-oriented professional responsible for funding consumer loans accurately and efficiently while ensuring full compliance with WEOKIE policies and regulatory requirements. Builds strong member relationships through clear and timely communication. Performs a thorough final review of each loan to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for funding. Works independently while contributing positively to team culture and consistently delivering a high-quality, error-limited member experience.
- Manages loan files from approval through funding and coordinates with members to complete the funding process using DocuSign.
- Conducts a thorough final audit of each loan prior to funding to ensure compliance with WEOKIE policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Communicates clearly with members regarding funding steps, timelines, and requirements.
- Reviews loan documents with members to ensure understanding of terms, payments, and insurance products selected.
- Ensures all documentation and system data are accurate and complete to minimize errors and rework.
- Demonstrates strong organization and prioritization to meet funding deadlines and service expectations.
- Collaborates with internal partners to resolve issues and ensure efficient loan processing.
- Utilizes MeridianLink, DNA, DocuSign, Microsoft applications, and Eltropy (text messaging) to perform job responsibilities efficiently.
- Takes ownership of each loan application to ensure a seamless member experience.
- Builds positive relationships and contributes to a collaborative team environment.
- Completes required training and adapts to changes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- May perform occasional business-related errands such as document delivery via FedEx, UPS, or postal services. Mileage reimbursed per policy.
- Specialized or Technical Knowledge and Skills:
1) High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2) Consumer lending, loan processing, or financial services experience preferred; customer service experience required.
3) Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and validate complex information.
4) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
5) Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6) Working knowledge of lending processes, documentation, and compliance preferred.
7) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and lending systems such as MeridianLink and FISERV DNA.
8) Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and commitment to quality work.
9) Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) preferred but not required.
