POSITION SCOPE
The Alamo Trust, Inc., Senior Project Manager, will oversee projects associated with the Alamo Plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise internal and external project managers.
• Oversee capital projects and serve as liaison between ATI professionals and contracted vendors to maintain effective communication and information flow.
• Oversee the logistical requirements of capital and construction projects.
• Oversee the bid process and vendor selection, developing and processing the execution of all contracts and associated change orders.
• Oversee a variety of contracts, ensuring all outside vendors adhere to contract specifications.
• Regularly review timing, budgets, work, risk, and project plans, to ensure work stays on track and on budget.
• Attend all required meetings.
• Meet regularly with all parties to report on progress.
• Prepare and present regular status reports and materials.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Manage contract disputes and mitigate the impact of any issues.
• Operate within approved budgets, reporting requirements and expectations, while managing and controlling expenses.
• Work with accounting/finance department to ensure smooth billing processes related to capital project invoices.
• Work professionally with all staff, board members, vendors, donors, and project management firm.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years’ experience in a managerial role overseeing major construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office products, and knowledge of technology and software platforms.
• Experience with contracts, bid processes, and invoicing.
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and to consistently meet deadline schedules.
