This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise, customer engagement, and cloud optimization, focusing on helping organizations unlock the full potential of Kubernetes environments. You will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey, partnering closely with sales teams to demonstrate how advanced Kubernetes optimization can drive measurable performance and cost improvements. The position combines hands-on technical validation with strategic storytelling, ensuring prospects clearly understand both the value and impact of the solution. You will engage with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and FinOps stakeholders in complex enterprise environments. This is a highly collaborative, remote-first role within a global team, where technical depth and customer empathy are equally important. You will play a key part in shaping how modern organizations approach Kubernetes efficiency at scale.
- Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery sessions, understanding customer Kubernetes environments, cost challenges, and optimization goals.
- Own and execute technical validation processes, including Proof of Concepts (POCs), ensuring successful demonstrations of platform value.
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly address customer use cases and technical requirements.
- Develop data-driven business cases and ROI models to articulate the financial and performance impact of Kubernetes optimization.
- Serve as the primary technical authority for PerfectScale engagements, guiding prospects through evaluation and adoption.
- Represent the solution at industry events and conferences through presentations and live demonstrations.
- Ensure accurate documentation of customer interactions, technical findings, and success metrics in internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve technical messaging, demos, and customer experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering or similar technical pre-sales role within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong background working with DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or FinOps teams, with a focus on Kubernetes or cloud cost optimization.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) and DevOps best practices.
- Experience with cloud-native SaaS tools in areas such as observability, optimization, or infrastructure management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with data tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Proven ability to build ROI models and business cases that demonstrate clear customer value.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, intellectual curiosity, and passion for Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
- Prior experience in roles such as Kubernetes Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or FinOps practitioner is a strong plus.
