Teacher - DPSCD Summer School Enrichment in Detroit, Michigan at GPS Solutions LLC

School: DPSCD Mackenzie Elementary-Middle School
Location: Detroit
Compensation: $40/hour
Program Dates: June 22-July 24, no school July 3.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 11:45 pm to 4:45 pm
Pre-Program Meeting: Meeting in early June and training on June 17.

• Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students.

• Conduct Pre and Post program assessments

• Plan fun, active lessons for student enrichment, focused on games and movement

• Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure instructional consistency and quality.

• Attend a mandatory meeting in June (exact date TBD).

Required:

• A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university
  OR
  A passing score of 460 on the ETS Parapro Assessment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and social media platforms

  • Will need to upload documents in teams

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science or Arts in Education or related field

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education

• Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
