Title: Marketing Assistant

Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager

Rate: £13.50/hr

Contract: Contract end date: 30th September

Hours: 9:30am-5pm, 5 days a week with 30 mins for lunch (35hrs per week)

Commences: As soon as possible

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

This is a broad reaching role, so we will expect you to bring technical skills and experience in some of these areas, and in the remaining areas to have sufficient knowledge and experience to oversee the delivery of these aspects through the team or via outsourced partner relationships. You will be working in a team of three, interacting closely with key decision makers within the business, with external agency and specialist support.

Marketing & PR

This role’s scope will include building strong relationships, both internally and externally. You’ll be able to influence others and drive results to include:

• Understand the media landscape to ensure timely and insightful information is delivered to our partners and external agencies.

• Issue ad-hoc local press releases locally for positive press coverage

• Represent Cotswold Farm Park with local tourism bodies

• Support multiple activities and campaigns across different revenue streams and channels.

• Oversee the development and implementation of partnerships, including influencers and brand partnerships.

Email Marketing

Keeping in contact with visitors and holiday guests is key for repeat business, you will:

• Implement and write copy for our email marketing programme.

• Drive growth in engagement, open rates, attributable revenue, and database sizes.

Sales

• Able to work with multiple stakeholders to implement sales and marketing strategies (Revenue streams include ticketing, holidays, retail, food and beverage, media & corporate)

• Deliver growth plans to hit business revenue targets, based on strong customer insights and data analysis.

• Analyse and report all marketing, sales, media and content activity and its impact on the business.

What we’re looking for in you:

• Recent experience of working in a fast-paced B2C Marketing environment.

• A good understanding of digital marketing.

• Self-starter with lots of initiative and a ‘sales’ mindset.

• Good communication skills, both written & verbal.

• Ability to write copy with faultless spelling, punctuation and grammar, and create basic video/photo assets utilising content delivered by our in-house Content Creator.

• Ability to make strategic decisions and recommendations based on facts, market trends and experience.

• This is a full-time position, based in the office at Cotswold Farm Park (GL54 5FL), working an average of 35hrs across a 5-day week. This will largely be Mon-Fri but occasional weekend and evening attendance may be required around events and activities requiring marketing coverage.
