Role Description
Responsible for providing clinical and technical expertise during the sales process for Ultrasound. Work closely with assigned Sales Representatives, Dealers, and Channel Sales Manager to support the growth and needs of the business. Experience supporting Radiology Commercial Market.
Key duties and responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:
- Provide technical and clinical instruction of a complex nature during the ultrasound sales and post-sale process to internal and external customers, service personnel, including on-site visits to physicians and sonographers
- Perform ultrasound product demonstrations with professional expertise. Provide post installation training to customers’ clinical staff.
- Clinically Sell directly to end-users
- Support industry trade shows and professional conferences by providing clinical and technical assistance
- Work closely with the product management and service organization to report/improve product performance by providing guidance based on experience in/feedback from the field
- Provide clinical assistance to the sales organization
- Monitor customer installations to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and work processes.
- Represent Boston Imaging in a professional manner
- Maintain a positive attitude and exhibit patience with customer concerns or requests
- Learn the company's products as well as the competitor's products to better promote the company's product line
- Manage time effectively; prioritize and make good business judgments and decisions in relationship to efficiency and effectiveness
- Follow all company policies regarding travel, expenses, meetings, and meals
- Transport company equipment per company policy

Education & Experience
- RDMS certification required; (OB/GYN and Fetal Echo); must possess excellent knowledge of the technical and clinical aspects of diagnostic ultrasound
- Experience supporting Women’s Health Commercial Market.
- 4-10 years of clinical ultrasound experience in MFM, Ob/Gyn and Fetal Echo applications required
- Skilled in 2D, 3D and Color Doppler across applications
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital credentialing requirements
- Previous commercial experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist
- Strong market knowledge and competitive attitude
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers
- Willing to travel overnight, requiring both flying and/or driving to/from customer location
- Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record required and background and drug testing (pre and post employment) is required
- Budget, expense, and resource management experience required
- Must be results oriented, team player, people person
- Must be self-driven to optimize performance without the need for extensive supervision
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment
- Must have and exhibit excellent presentation skills in small and large groups situations

Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel internationally, overnight, and on weekends with 75% travel required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; background and drug testing (pre‑ and post‑employment) is required
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days
- Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather).
- Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason, strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation
- The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus
