Waterjet Operator - IGS Aerospace and Defense Country Club - Afternoon Shift

Location: 300 Country Club Road, Meadowlands, PA 15347 (IGS Aerospace and Defense Division)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (No Rotating Shifts!)

Training Schedule: Daylight hours, Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (60 - 90 days)

Wage: The posted wage for this position includes a $5.00 afternoon shift differential.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Waterjet Operator to join our team. This position is perfect for candidates with hands-on experience who enjoy working in a dynamic, manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our parts meet strict quality standards. The primary purpose of this position is to operate the waterjet machinery and ensure customer parts are produced per order specifications.

What You’ll Do

• Training is available for this role.
• Review router, drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine required materials and set up requirements.
• Load material in the machine and operate according to order specifications.
• Inspect parts, as well as, raw materials before, during, and after production runs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment, as needed.
• Operate overhead crane
  

Requirements

• Required:
  • High school diploma/GED and/or relevant work experience.
  • Read and understand blueprints.
  • Operate Tow Motor (must have valid driver’s license)
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical/technical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work safely with tools and equipment.
  • Basic math skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
