Staff Product Operations Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Product Operations Manager in the United States.

This role sits at the core of a major product transformation, where operational excellence is a key driver of speed, clarity, and impact across the entire product organization. You will design and scale the systems that connect Product, Design, Engineering, Research, and Go-to-Market teams into a cohesive, high-velocity operating model. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will ensure that strategy translates into execution with precision and transparency. Your work will directly influence product delivery speed, organizational alignment, and business outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional role in a fast-moving, AI-driven environment where structure and adaptability must coexist. You will shape how modern product teams operate at scale, balancing rigor with agility.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will own and evolve the operational backbone of the product organization, ensuring that processes, tools, and metrics enable fast, aligned, and high-quality execution. You will act as a systems builder, improving how teams plan, collaborate, measure success, and deliver value.

  • Own and optimize the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from research and discovery through release and iteration
  • Design and improve operational workflows across Product, Design, Engineering, and Research
  • Drive planning visibility through roadmap alignment, sprint cadences, and Jira governance
  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms that improve execution clarity and cross-team coordination
  • Define and manage product metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for actionable insights
  • Ensure strong cross-functional alignment across Product, Design, Engineering, and Product Marketing
  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements
  • Support leadership in decision-making by improving data visibility and operational transparency
  • Enable teams to operate faster without compromising ownership or quality
Requirements

This role requires deep experience in product operations or related disciplines within high-growth software environments, along with strong systems thinking and the ability to influence across functions. You should be comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels.

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Operations or a closely related role in a software environment
  • Proven experience improving end-to-end product development processes (discovery to release)
  • Strong expertise with Jira and modern product development workflows
  • Systems-thinking mindset with ability to design scalable operating models
  • Experience driving organizational change without direct authority
  • Strong data literacy and ability to define meaningful metrics and dashboards
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership teams
  • Ability to balance structure with agility in fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of modern product operating models, ideally including AI-driven workflows
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary
  • Generous paid vacation policy
  • Unlimited sick days and family care leave
  • 16 weeks fully paid parental leave
  • Comprehensive, country-specific health insurance coverage
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Home internet stipend
  • One-time home office setup allowance
  • Professional learning and development budget
  • Access to Calm, LinkedIn Learning, MyAcademy, and Overdrive
  • Remote-first work environment with global hiring hubs
  • Inclusive and equity-driven workplace culture
