Echo Sonographer Assistant at CaroMont Health – Gastonia, North Carolina

Job Summary: Assist echo sonographers in their performance of echocardiograms both in the echo lab and in patient rooms. Work under direct supervision of echo sonographers. Assist in the preparation of patients for studies. Asist to prepare patient rooms for echocardiogram. Stock procedure rooms. Transport patients to and from echo lab.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; Current enrollment in an approved echo sonography program. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be highly organized. Needs to have (or be in process of obtaining) BLS certification.
