Epic Manager, Reporting & Interfaces at Med Center Health – Bowling Green, Kentucky

The Epic Manager, Reporting & Interfaces is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and oversight of the Epic programming team as well as programmers supporting applications and systems outside of Epic. This role ensures the effective development, maintenance, and optimization of Epic reporting solutions, data extracts, and system interfaces, while also overseeing development efforts for third-party systems and integrated applications across Med Center Health. The Epic Manager partners closely with other Epic Managers, IT leadership, and clinical and operational stakeholders to align development and reporting efforts with organizational priorities. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage work across both Epic and non-Epic systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three years of experience in healthcare IT, programming, data analytics/reporting, or integration development required.

• Experience working directly with Epic systems and supporting operational and clinical workflows strongly preferred.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

• Epic training and certification in assigned programming tools and applications required. Employees who are not certified at the time of hire or transfer must complete the designated Epic training and certification program(s) within the assigned timeframe for their role and/or assigned application(s). Certification exams must be successfully completed within three attempts.
