Position Purpose

The Safety Intern will support the Safety team with daily safety operations, documentation, and field activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to workplace safety practices, compliance requirements, and safety program implementation while supporting employees across the organization.

Pay Range: $17.84 - $22.78 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties or tasks assigned as required. • Assist with safety documentation, recordkeeping, and data organization.
• Help generate safety awareness materials such as posters, toolbox talks, and communications.
• Support PPE tracking, inventory management, and distribution.
• Participate in equipment and job site inspections to help identify potential safety risks,
• Assist with incident response activities and support incident investigations.
• Support safety training efforts, including preparation of materials and coordination of sessions.
• Perform additional safety-related tasks and projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in office and field environments.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with customers and internal teams.

• This position may require lifting to 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
