Scale House Operator - Drummonds, TN (Not Memphis) at ENSTRUCTURE LLC – Memphis, Tennessee

The Scale House Operator is responsible for weighing inbound and outbound traffic that is picking up and delivering material to Drummonds. This position is located in Drummonds, TN - 30 miles south of Memphis.

Hours are Mon-Fri 6a-5p and Saturdays 6a-12p

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Captures tare weights on all applicable equipment at the beginning of each shift
2. Obtains and verifies orders for incoming traffic
3. Scales in traffic
4. Directs traffic to the correct pile location.
5. Weighs out each vehicle and proceeds to capture the receipted weight into computer
6. Prints tickets for traffic upon exiting
7. Checks in trucks for onsite barge unloading.
8. Captures trucks weights in computer
9. At the end of the shift and/or the start of every barge unload, compare truck driver log to barge/scale clerk log and to report for a triple check process.
10. Close notices once report, scale clerk log, truck driver logs, and the daily barge log all match.
11. Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, to set priorities, and to meet deadlines
Strong organization and analytical skills
Self-managing; works well with little supervision
Geographically competent
Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external parties regarding issues and changes
1 to 3 years of related experience preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Environment is typically in an office setting with a controlled environment. Physical responsibilities do include going into the plant, external locations and scale houses as needed. General work hours are expected with some overtime depending on the workload.
