Position Information
Under the supervision of the University Librarian, the Head of Library Facilities is responsible for the management and oversight of the general maintenance of Library facilities. Supervises two Senior Building Maintenance Workers for the Rivera Library and Orbach Science Library. The full salary range for the Head of Library Facilities is $75,900 - $137,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $120,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

| Working knowledge in supervising facility maintenance and improvements along with building maintenance work to include one or more of the following: basic plumbing and pipefitting, carpentry, painting and plastering, service of machinery, electrical maintenance and custodial. |
| Ability to provide effective leadership and supervision to supervised staff and foster a motivating and engaged environment. Ability to proactively manage employee performance, establish goals for supervised staff and work continuously to promote achievement of the established goals. Ability to effectively delegate and hold supervised staff accountable for successful completion of assignments. |
