About the Role:

As a Customer Service Representative in the manufacturing industry, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Your role is critical in maintaining strong customer relationships by providing accurate information, resolving issues, and facilitating smooth communication between customers and internal departments. You will utilize SAP and other tools to manage customer accounts, track orders, and update records, ensuring data accuracy and timely service delivery. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will need to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to customer satisfaction, retention, and the overall success of the company’s customer service operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a manufacturing or related industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP (ERP) software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with telephone customer service in a high-volume call center setting.
  • Familiarity with problem resolution techniques and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Additional language skills to support diverse customer bases.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via telephone and other communication channels.
  • Utilize SAP software to manage and update customer accounts, process orders, and track shipments.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints by identifying problems, researching solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and production to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
  • Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication to customers and team members.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a positive attitude and high-quality service standards.
