We are experiencing continuous growth and have two immediate openings for the Customer Service Representative position: one full-time, permanent role and one part-time, permanent role (approximately 24 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours from May to July).
The ideal candidate is eager to work on a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays).
You will be working in a hybrid capacity from home and in our Richmond Hill, ON office (Monday to Thursday). The Customer Service Representative will report to the Manager, Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level support to our valued customers by answering inquiries via phone, email, and live chat with a polished, professional, and friendly approach.
- Build accurate design estimates and quotes for customers using our in-house design software.
- Provide product and installation support to customers and retail partners (such as Home Depot). This includes troubleshooting issues and managing replacement parts with a customer-centric mindset.
- Review project plans or blueprints to assist in translating customer needs into comprehensive material takeoffs.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager to support the growth of the business.
Qualifications
- At least two years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment. Specific experience in the Construction, Renovation, or Design industries is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in big-box retail environments (e.g., past Home Depot associates) or as a Product Specialist is considered a significant asset.
- A genuine passion for the customer experience. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate active listening, patience, empathy, and a consistently positive attitude.
- Experience with estimating, quoting, or reading blueprints/project plans is a strong asset.
- Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills. You should be polished in your delivery and capable of handling complex inquiries with clarity and professional etiquette.
- A self-starter and accountable contributor who possesses strong organizational skills and the ability to take on multiple roles in a collaborative team setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingualism in French/English is considered a strong asset.
- Must be available to work on a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekend shifts. Shifts are 8 hours long and are scheduled between 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST.
Compensation: Starting from $24/hour based on experience.
