Title
Family Medicine Physician Assistant
Summary
The Physician Assistant (PA) – Clinics is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including assessment of health status, diagnosis, development and implementation of treatment plans, and ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes. The PA provides treatment for acute and chronic conditions, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes medications, and delivers patient education to support health and wellness. This role ensures accurate and timely documentation, coordinates follow-up care and referrals, and collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The PA also supports quality improvement initiatives, maintains compliance with applicable regulations and policies, and contributes to a safe, respectful, and efficient care environment.
Hours and FTE are determined per employment agreement. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
Compensation
We are committed to providing wage information for all open positions. This position offers a base guarantee with productivity opportunity above the base determined annually. The productivity-based pay is reviewed annually for market adjustments. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Certified as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA
- Current and unrestricted Minnesota Board of Medical Practice license
- Must be enrolled in NH+C RQI program for BLS certification and complete the requirements within 90 days of enrollment. Must remain current (complete quarterly assignments prior to the end of each calendar quarter).
- Complete required de-escalation and crisis prevention training upon hire and on an annual basis, including adherence to NH+C reporting standards, preparedness protocols, and response procedures.
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required upon hire
- Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) registration required upon hire
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) required upon hire
