Position Overview
SensaPay is expanding in the Oakland, CA market and seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive new business growth.
This is a hybrid sales role focused on building relationships with local business owners, owning a defined territory, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and activation.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a designated territory within the greater Oakland, CA markets
- Generate new business through in-person prospecting, referrals, networking, cold-calls, and other creative ways of outreach
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with business owners to assess needs and present solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing, installation coordination, and onboarding
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention, referrals, and account growth
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and activity within CRM systems
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and customer experience
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of B2B or field sales experience selling in this market (Payment or POS sales experience is a plus)
- Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses; restaurant, retail, or service industry is also a plus
- Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage territory and priorities independently
- Comfortable learning and presenting technology-based solutions
Compensation
This is a 1099 commission-based role designed to reward both new business development and long-term account growth.
Compensation includes:
- Generous upfront account bonuses % earned on all newly activated merchants based on the year 1 processing revenue
- Recurring residual income on every active merchant account on an ongoing basis
- % of net profit on all POS hardware sales you make
This structure allows you to earn income at the time of sale and continue earning from each account on an ongoing basis.

Work Environment
This is a field-based role requiring regular in-person engagement with local businesses (70% of time in the field). Candidates should expect to spend the majority of their time prospecting and meeting clients within their assigned territory.
