We are currently looking for an electromechanic on the day shift who will report to the Production Manager. This person will ensure the proper functioning and continuity of operations of its large fleet of machines by maintaining, installing, diagnosing, repairing and optimizing our equipment. He/she ensures the compliance of electrical and pneumatic connections in order to guarantee the performance, safety and reliability of installations related to the manufacture of valves.

- Assemble, install, maintain and repair electromechanical equipment and systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Connect, maintain and repair specific electrical equipment
- Testing and diagnosing electrical systems and components
- Calibrate equipment and systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Install, connect and commission electric and pneumatic motor equipment
- Check the conformity and quality of electrical connections and pneumatic circuits
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic problems
Desired profile
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in electromechanics of automated systems or equivalent with experience in other technical maintenance training
- Possess a C license (an asset) or a restricted certificate in equipment connection (CRA) (Mandatory) Paid training offered upon hiring
- Hold 7 years as an industrial electromechanic in a context mainly of manufacturing equipment by machining on numerical control and conventional machines or the equivalent
- Very good ability to read and understand drawings and specifications of machine tools.
- Knowledge of automation and control
- Very good experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with CNC machines (an asset)
- May be called upon to perform any other tasks related to his/her function
- A theoretical and/or practical test may be required of candidates
